Simon is the Founder of ANGLO INDIAN and a Director of ANGLO INDIAN Property Advisors Pvt Ltd in India. He has twenty years of experience in real estate investment, development, financing and asset management all over the world. He worked for some of the leading players in global real estate, including ING Real Estate Investment Management and GE Capital, before founding ANGLO INDIAN in 2005. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Real Estate Management, and is a Professional Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in London. He has also been a guest lecturer at The Indian School of Business in Hyderabad.
Robert has worked with Simon Reid on the development of ANGLO INDIAN since 2006. He brings extensive leisure management, development and operational expertise to the company. Robert manages the relationships and interactions with our brand partners. He is also a director of 360 Golf Ltd, a company specialising in golf resort planning, development, course construction, club acquisition, and business consultancy. Previously he was a diamond dealer with De Beers and spent many years in west and central Africa before postings to Diamdel in Belgium and Hindustan Diamonds in India, where he was based in Mumbai for three years.
Praneet is Director of ANGLO INDIAN Property Advisers Pvt Ltd in India. He began his career co-founding a business process outsourcing company which successfully bid for, and managed the helpdesk for, several blue chip European clients. After divesting his stake in the venture, he worked closely with Simon Reid to help start the ANGLO INDIAN operations in India in early 2005. He has extensive experience in real estate private equity and development where he has worked in India, Germany and the UK – for ANGLO INDIAN as well as Tishman Speyer. Praneet has been integrally involved in originating and acquiring assets in UK, Germany & India. He also has experience of project management and execution and was part of the team which built one of India’s first Grade A international office spaces. He holds a Masters in accounting and finance from the London School of Economics and an MBA from the Indian School of Business.
Robert specialises in International Educational Developments. After graduating from the European Business School, Robert joined S.G. Warburg and Co. He has over 20 years corporate finance experience and is the founder of an independent corporate development advisory business. Previous roles include Director of Corporate Finance at both Avis Europe plc and HMT, chartered accountants. He also has significant emerging market experience in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and India with Rothman’s International. Robert is also a director of two of Triple Point Investment Management’s Venture Capital Trusts. More recently he has been working in the international education sector, including the role of interim International Director at Wellington College.
James trained in audit, finance and accounting at PwC and KPMG before embarking on a career in private equity. He has several years’ experience in emerging markets having lived and worked in Lithuania and Russia. He has worked in the real estate sector, auditing international property funds and operating companies. He provides the financial advice for ANGLO INDIAN companies, including the Mauritius entities through which the group’s investments in India are held.
Sarah specialises in Marketing and Communications. Her understanding of exceptional service levels and demanding brands was firmly established early in her career working with The Savoy Group in London. She has since worked with many luxury hospitality brands, private members clubs, and spas (both in the UK and throughout Asia) including The American Club Singapore, Mandara Spa Asia, The Royal Automobile Club, Six Senses and Dolphin Square.
Girija is Managing Director of Airawat Developers Private Limited, a specialist land acquisition and development company founded by ANGLO INDIAN in 2006. He is a Graduate of Economics and spent a successful career in the Indian Army, rising to the rank of Colonel. He has many years of experience in land acquisition and regulatory process management. He spearheads the company’s land acquisition strategy and manages the project with a team of ten people, coordinating government liaison at a local and state level.
Anant is a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and Company Secretary with more than 17 years’ experience in corporate finance, treasury, financial reporting, ERP and finance systems. He has a broad range of sector experience in manufacturing, Information Technology and real estate. He has an expert level knowledge of IFRS and accounting standards and looks after business development and process improvements. He manages the formation, regulatory compliance and financial management and reporting for all of ANGLO INDIAN’s operating companies in India.
